I was skeptical about individual portions being worth it, but the 5" size is perfect for my lunch prep. The ceramic heats evenly in the oven and the silicone cover keeps leftovers fresh without any plastic wrap.
The silicone lid snaps on tight enough that I've started using mine for meal prep — the rectangular one holds a full portion of lasagna without a mess in the fridge. Cleanup is easy too, and it goes straight from the oven to the table without looking out of place.
