I was a little skeptical about how well the silicone would hold up to repeated freezing and reheating, but the lids seal tightly enough that I haven't had any spills. The only small downside is that they're a bit floppy to fill when empty, but once they're in the freezer, portion control for stews and sauces is exactly what I needed.
